In carrying out such a serious challenge, as an organization of the European Arabian Horse Festival, it is significant to considerate a widely understood responsibility for all of decisions to make – both on every part of arrangements and during the course of the event – that can have a serious impact on the society and environment. That is why Festival’s host accepts the principle of full transparency, respect for international standards, ethical conduct, the principles of sustainable development and concern for social welfare as a foundation of his activities.
Adherence to standards of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is simultaneously a part of the specificity of Islamic culture, which is the foundation of Shari’a Law. Considering the pedigree of the Company and the inspiration for the European Arabian Horses Festival coming from Saudi Arabia, we encourage you to read the Quran excerpt illustrating attitudes, which are a determinant of our actions.
It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards East or West.
But it is righteousness to believe in God and the Last Day,
and the Angels, the Book, and the messengers.
To give of your sustenance, out of love for Him,
for your family, for orphans, for the needy, for street children,
for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves.
To be steadfast in prayer, and pay zakat.
To fulfill the contracts which you have made,
and to be firm and patient in pain and suffering,
and adversity, and through all periods of crisis.
Such are the people of truth, the realized.Quran [2:177]
